F is for Forensic Science and Freddie

Welcome to Stranded!, my Strand Magazine-based April A to Z Blogging Challenge!  In this challenge, I will be taking illustrations from The Strand Magazine and making new stories out of them.  So, in order to fully appreciate the Stirring Events eventuating here, a look back at my older A TO Z entries is advisable.  I promise you, they are short.  Click Here to start with my Theme Reveal, or Click Here to start with A!  It is also totally acceptable to just look at today’s post.

And Now!  A New Feature!  Strand Magazine “One-Shots.”  That is, single panels, not a part of any ongoing story!

The first image came from The Strand Magazine No. 56; the second, from No. 54.

And that’s all for today, folks!  Thanks for visiting; stay as long as you like!  There is a LOT of content on this blaugh, and (in my totally-not-humble opinion) most of it is Very Good.  And please note the list of A To Z Fictioneers in my sidebar (or, if you are on a Mobile Device or a Tablet, it may be somewhere under the Comments Section).  This list, of we few, we happy few, who are Doing Fiction for our A To Zs this year, will help you find more fiction to read.  Also!  If you yourself are Fictioneering for your A to Z this year, Comment and tell me so, and I will put you on the list!

Oh yes, and please do leave a comment in any case.  Even if it is just “Hey, I exist, and I liked your thing.”

Until tomorrow, then!

  1. I wonder what aspect of forensics allowed Inspector Cambrick to determine the dogs were adorable.

Here’s yet another Cabal prospect: Natalie’s “Secret Diary of a Serial Killer” at http://nataliewestgate.com/2017/04/anna-secret-diary-of-a-serial-killer/

May your weekend bring respite and time in the sun — maybe not a habit of proper Victorian ladies, but 10 minutes in the light can enhance one’s mood.

Hm, yes… I, too, wonder by what subtle signs Inspector Cambrink made his startling deduction!

  4. I’m with Sue on that. Wonder what made him think the dogs were adorable! Keep writing. I’m catching up on all the posts I missed! 🙂

Hello Shweta! It is indeed a mystery, how Forensic Science could possibly determine the adorableness of dogs…

  5. I hope there are more one-shots in the future.

Tales such as that of poor Freddie need to be told.

You are right! The Freddie Story is one The Public Ought To Hear. And there will be more one-shots. I love making them. 🙂

  6. I love this so much. The Revelation about the Dogs, and then poor Freddie. 😀
