Hi! I got back from the airport just now, sat down, opened up my X draft… and realized that I just don’t have the mental energy to do everything I’d have to do to get it posted today. It is a a mess; it needs hours of editing before it is fit to be placed before human eyeballs. So my plan is, I’ll have dinner and go to bed. Tomorrow, I’ll post X. Wednesday I’ll post Y (also a shambles; by the way, that one will mostly be Crowner explaining how he figured out various things, and one fun way to do that, if you guys want, is you could ask questions and he could answer them in character; anyway, I’m thinking about opening it up in some way like that–would people be into it if I did?). And Thursday I’ll post Z, ending my A to Z a day late.
Sorry about this! Stay tuned for X tomorrow!
Also! I have read all the comments on V and W (thank you, I appreciate them so much!), and will respond to them when I have more than half a functioning brain.
I’ve been checking all day to see if it was up yet! Get some rest and I look forward to tomorrow’s episode. I’m willing to ask questions 🙂
It will be a big help if people do ask questions! X will reveal a lot; please post any questions you still have as a comment. I’ll then have some character ask Crowner your question, and he’ll answer it in Y, unless it is more naturally addressed in Z. Anyway, hopefully this will mean that all the loose ends get tied up!
Always a challenge if you are travelling and trying to manage a blogging schedule. Look forward to tomorrow’s episode.
Thank you for understanding! I want my posts to be as crafted as I can possibly get them (I’m sure you all understand that!), and so sometimes delays are inevitable.
Definitely better to wait a day and have something you’re more satisfied with in the end. I mean, the suspense is killing me, but with my dying breath I shall magnanimously forgive you.
Yes, definitely better to delay, if it means higher quality. As it turns out, X actually needs a re-write, which I am doing right now. Or, anyway, I was doing it a minute ago, and then I took a break from doing it to reply to comments, and now I’m going back to it.
I’m smiling about the whole dying-breath-forgiveness thing.
